I had an english class yesterday and the tutor asked us the typical question for this part of the year. What are your new years resolutions? And she did not asked us do you do new years resolutions? Nope, just expected we do them and follow along the same path as all the people do.



I have heard many people saying I don't do new years resolutions because you just get an unreasonable goal and are expected to fail it really quickly so there is no point. And that is mostly the case, at least was with me.

I did the worst types of resolutions when I was young. Like exercise, go to sleep sooner, be healthy, learn more. And none of them didn't really mean much to me so, as expected, I failed horribly at making them a reality.

Then I told myself that why should I do something that stupid. Instead I made my own tradition. And no one knew about it until now, because I am still kind of ashamed about how lame it was. I told myself that the 24 hours of the 1st of January count as 12 months of the year. So two hours always counted for one month. And whatever I felt in those two hours of the day will I feel on the month that befits to that two hours. And considering I slept through most of the day it was kind of funny. But also those hours I slept through, I do not remember the months, what I did or what happened, they just flew by. So in a way it was working.

I stopped that tradition few years ago,  even though it lasted long enough to become a tradition, and I still kind of think about it. But I realised, that one year is a pretty long time. A lot can happen in one year. You can be madly in love in January and with someone else in December. You can tell yourself that you want to sleep more and then get so much learning and stuff to do that you start counting nights as another days to convince yourself that you have more time (Friday, Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night and Sunday counts as 5 days. Look how much time I have to do this assignment. That's gonna be allright.) You can tell yourself that you want to do yoga and then find out that your true calling is running. A ton of stuff happens in one year.

Good resolutions, in my opinion, are I am gonna graduate this year. That was my last years. And when you say something like that and convince yourself that is gonna happen, not in a wishful way but in a real this is reality way then it's going to be a bit easier to do so.

But no resolutions are what works best for me. I just look at another year as I look at any new day. It is just 365 days that can bring you nothing or everything. That can bring you new challenges,  new memories, new friends, old friends, new loves and new experience. And nothing you want to do now should be stopped by something as stupid as a new years resolutions. If you want to start exercising, start now, when you are motivated. If you wanna learn new language start now when you can. Now is time as good as any other. Do not stop yourself from doing awesome things just because tomorrow is a new day.

Hello there darlings and loved ones.

Today I bring you a bit of christmasey DIY. I did not ever intended to create something like this, because well I found the idea of pinning pieces of ribbon into a styrofoam ball kind of silly, but once I started I could not stop. So here I have a photo - step by step manual in case you wanted to give this a try for a kind of cheaper christmas gift or decoration.




Lay the center of the first ribbon piece next to the center of the ball, in a way that it is touching the center, or laying over the half of the center hole, if you pinned it before and pin the top of the ribbon down.


Then take the top corners of the ribbon (top meaning the side where the pin is pinned) and turn them down to the lower middle of the center. The bent fabric that you turn over the bottom layer will come on top and hide the pin. The pin will be located in the top corner of the triangle and covered by the fabric that you bent over. Do this process one corner after other pinning each corner in place properly before moving on to the next one.


Take second piece of ribbon and put it across the ball right opposite to the first one. The top pins should be right next to each other and the middles of the triangles should create a line. Bend the top corners of the ribbon downward and pin in the down middle of the ribbon.


Here you can see how the two pieces create a line together as they are matched opposite to each other.


Next step is to put the third ribbon piece in between these two. I used the line that the previous two created and located the ribbon in a way that it is aligned with the center of the created line and centered with the middle of the ribbon to the center of the ball.


I then pinned it down and repeated the process with the fourth one creating a cross on the top center of the ball.


Last step I did was to pin down the outer edge of the triangles making sure that the sides are touching and none of the ball is showing. With some ribbons you can not match them perfectly and there are tiny openings in between the triangles. These will be pinned down in the next steps so don't worry too much about them.


For the next rows of ribbon you need 8 pieces. Start with 4 of them and pin the 4 triangles matching the four that are already pinned on the ball. Meaning, you repeat the orientation of the triangles, and match the middle line of the new triangle to the middle line of the first one, only moving the second one a bit lower on the ball so that the top one is showing.



Here is a picture of the two rows done. Also I love this colour combination!



Here is a picture of the first half done. Again I love this colour combination, Also if your fingers hurt by this time, try to find better pins. But my finger are still aching so don't worry it will get worse even with the best pins. Try using something sharp and flat to push the pins down so that they are not pushing against your bare fingers. I use ine of those three sided big pencils that I found laying around.


After the first half repeat the process, and probably also the colours on the other half.


It is also great to mark the lines that the triangles created on the first half so that you can be sure that the lines will match properly once they are connected at the half line of the ball.




And that is your ball done. Hope you enjoyed your tutorial and I hope you try this out if you were wondering how it is done. It was actually a great way to just stop thinking and relax for a while, and that was a great thing after a really exhausting work week I had.

This post is yet again not a recipe or a life advice. This one is my story of sugar and me in a nutshell.


I have an open window and I am getting really cold but I am too lazy to get up and close it.

Since I was a kid I always used too much sugar when I could. And my parents stopped me most of the time, but when they could not see me, I was able to put 6 teaspoons of sugar into my cup of tea. And it was honestly the best thing ever when I was a kid.

As I grew older I used slightly less sugar, but still an alarming amount, so that when anyone saw me adding sugar into tea, they were horrified. That was 3 teaspoons up until I was about 23? Since then, I have gotten ashamed by the amount of sugar and tried my best to lower it down. Until few months ago I was at 2 teaspoons and 2 and a half when no one was watching. And I wanted to change that.

Closed that window, now it's better.

Don't get me as a freak, when I cook I use half the amount of sugar that is prescribed, because that is how we did it at home and I honestly think that the cookies taste better with half the amount of sugar than prescribed. Also if there is more sugar than flour I know something is wrong with that recipe. But I always had a sweet tooth, and since high school I basically lived on sweet sodas and I loved my tea sweet.

What I started with was drinking more water less sodas. That started a few years ago, when I was in uni and I was broke and really tired from taking all those sodas home with me over and over again. They were heavy as hell! But I can say I mastered the water drinking about a half a year ago and now I am happy with the amount of water I drink (I had an app reminding me to drink every day and that helped a lot!). I now got to the point when I can't drink too many sweet sodas because I get a headache - and a massive one.

I did not need to worry about the pre-made foods or anything like that because I love cooking, so I do know what I eat when I eat. That counts for most of the food, of course I do buy chocolates or stuff like that but that is not too often or too much so I can live with that.

The last thing that concerned me was my tea. My sweet sweet tea. And I thought oh, I will just start by using 2 teaspoons instead of 2.5 and then slowly get it down. Did not work for me. Slowly never does for me, I am not a patient person. But, about two months ago a colleague had a story about that he cut his sugary drinks and how much better he felt. And I was like - I drink water all the time, I don't drink sweet drinks. And he was like "Well, but I always hear you stirring something. Some coffee or a tea." And I was like, okay I will try to stop that and see how it goes. And I did. And the last few weeks I realised I made my tea, added lemon and got back to work. No sugar needed.

Also, with my husband we moved locations recently and moved to a hotel until my parents house is renovated (or ours is built, but that is a longer time coming), and when we bought sugar we made a deal that we would not open that pack of sugar until we need it and see how much sugar we eat. That deal was to see how much sugar we use, because if it was only a small amount we could substitute it with more healthy but more pricey sugar substitution. And we actually did not need sugar until the other day when I was baking the cacao-chocolate-nutella cookies. That is for about three months. So I will certainly be switching white sugar to some other substitution.

Also it got to the point when my dearest was making us a pudding and he did not used sugar, because he didn't want to open the pack. I think it is ridiculous, and we both laughed, but I discovered I love chocolate pudding with no added sugar. It gets the really intense chocolate flavour. Yum!

Hello there darlings and loved ones.

I have been fairly sick last three days, that is the karma back for that boy that tried to cut in line for popcorn at cinema last Saturday that I kind of made fun of, but than the guy in front of me took too seriously and stated his opinion loud and clear. You probably don't know what I'm talking about but I am still sorry I started that mess right out then.



This post is for all of you who have long hair and are sick of that hair and are thinking about that pixie cut, or a cute bob for winter. It is also for me in future when I have those kinds of thoughts. And I feel this would be a long post so I will make it really simple and state the reasons right away, without rambling on any longer:

Don't cut your hair. Just don't. I know that feeling when you are sick of long hair because I have been there. And the urges of cutting my hair got me and I went and did it. I went from long and amazing hair that I loved and cherished and took great care to get into the state it was and cut that into a short around the ears bob. I was lucky enough that the hair stylist knew what she was doing and it looked kind of good. I considered it all right and was happy with my newly found freedom for exactly a week. And after that came 10 long months of suffering and waiting for this to grow out. It is now November and I can barely braid this thing on my head that calls itself hair.

Here are the top reasons why not to cut it:

• It will take a century to get back to the way it was before if you change your mind. 
• It is not easier to take care about short hair. It needs a lot of styling and tools to get to the point when it is presentable
• All the hair in eyes always. None of it will fit into elastic or a pony.
• No ponytail in summer means sweaty neck.
• No braids.
• Lots of styling products.
• Lots of heat you have to put on your hair since all the non-heat ways include braiding.
• The hair will live its own life. Does not care what you think it's just suddenly wild and free.
• You will need to cut it again when it grows out because that cute pixie you had looks disgusting when it's growing out. Do not trust pinterest, it's just not presentable.
• Think about a hairstyle you would like to wear with short hair? Are you sure it will suit you?
• Also there is less to do with short hair. I personally found myself going for the same hairstyle every day. 

Find a good and trusted hairstylist. Be sure he knows what he's doing. Or she, that does not matter. Bring multiple pictures and make sure you're on the same page with the style and the length. I can not stress this enough since I did not listen to this advice in February and instead showing a picture I just said I want it to be just to the shoulders. Well after a good three months I finally had the hairstyle I was going for in the first place.

Take it slow. If you just want a change and have really long hair, saying goodbye to it can be hard. Try chopping up few centimeters first and see how you feel about it and if you want to cut more cut more. Just don't do drastic changes without a proper thought because that is what makes those awkward pictures from our young years so awkward.

I hope this article helped anyone. Also again, do not trust pinterest. Think about it this way. On this one picture it looks great, but am I that lucky that this is how it's going to look like every day? Even on bad hair days? And when I don't want to wash my hair? Does this girl look like this every day? Is that good or bad?

Hello friends and newcomers!

I have a crazy howling dog under my windows and I just want to hug him, but it's not my dog. Take care of your dogs. They are really anxious when you're gone.



This post is not going to be a recipe or a life advice one, but more like my own opinion on healthy people and how they are perceived and how they may be completely different person. Just from my personal opinion.

So I have been doing my kind of 'healthy' or as I call it anti-inflammatory diet for about a year and a half now. And I am truly, genuinely happy with the results. I feel better, I get way less sick (almost none sickness in the last year. Once I had a bladder infection, but that was from stress and bad eating during state exams.), I have more energy in the morning and get way more done throughout the day. And I am happy with the way it is, even though I am looking forward to the time when I can exercise again. I still have ways to improve and I am working on it, because I like this lifestyle and I enjoy doing what I do. With that being said, I am not constraining myself from eating sweets, chocolates or even junk food. I do enjoy a tiny little chocolate bear with hazelnut filling, they sell in LIDL after lunch. And few more when I have the craving for them.Yesterday I went out with a friend, did some shopping and ended up in McDonalds. And I don't care, I am happy, I am not saying to myself I should not have eaten this or that, done this or that.

Still, I am perceived as the healthy one in my office. My colleagues, meaning people who mostly don't know me because I am a freak and when I code I code and I stop listening - hence why I don't have any friends, take me as a type of person that is always healthy. And today as I was making my lunch, I had two people come to me and say I wish I was more like you - always healthy. I always feel regrets when I see you because I always eat chocolate. And I didn't say anything, just smiled because I get these a lot. And I got tired of explaining that they should not compare themselves to me. That I had serious reasons why I started this lifestyle and fell in love with it in the process. That I have way more path to go to be truly healthy, but I am happy with the way it is as it is in the moment. And that I love chocolate as much as the other person.

And I believe that the healthy life is not just about eating healthy. It is about much more. It is about sleeping enough, about exercising, about feeling at home in your body and about feeling happy with the life you live. And I don't get people telling me they are miserable with their life and they would love to change it. Life change does not ask for something drastic. Just changing the way you think about yourself, your body and your life into positive thinking is the way to go. Because with a positive mindset you can achieve tremendous things. But with telling yourself that the way you live is wrong and that you have to punish yourself by not eating things you love - that is not the way to go.

So in conclusion, if you are one of those people who are always thinking I wish I was like that person, think why you would like to be like that, and then slowly try to find your own ways for that to work. Slowly on step at a time, for example if you want to be more healthy start by eating more fruits and vegetables, or by making a smoothie from time to time, and gradually add more things into your meals that are healthy and maybe find some substitution for those sweets you love or maybe try eating sweet potato fries instead of classic ones. Just take slow steps and find what you like and what you don't and move on from there.

Because if you don't know the person and are looking at him/her as the way to go, you are missing the full picture. Maybe you are regretting that chocolate you had before whilst they had a burger with fries and coke for dinner the last two days. But since they are happy with their lifestyle, and don't care if they eat something unhealthy once in a while they will not remember that as a valid point and will not tell you that - just because they forgot they had that food.

I have been working since morning until now, so I am pretty much tired, but I still have a quick post for you. This one is about a brand and a new love of mine, that I recently discovered.



That brand is called L'OCCITANE and I bet you have heard about it before. I certainly knew the brand before, since I was always walking around their shops when I was out and about thinking to myself: 'One day, I will be rich enough to buy this kind of stuff.' And the day come, that I am not rich enough but I was willing to pay a bit more for a good cosmetics and to lighten up my day.

So I went into the shop wanting a face mask, that kind of muddy one, that you apply on your face, look like a ghost for certain amount of time and then feel beautiful and awesome. That was the aim, so I came home with a Aromachologie Rebalancing face mask. As I found out that is a new range of theirs, so I am happy to try out something a little bit unknown and new.

It contains essential oils from cypress, juniper, lemon, thyme and eucalyptus and is supposed to clean the skin,  get rid of impurities and tighten the pores. I must say I adore this mask. I look like a ghost for certain amount of time, which is in my opinion the best part of every face mask, and afterwards my skin feels really nice, soft and glowing. The softness is absolutely amazing.

As for the pore tightening, this I must say works, and is the only downside of this mask for my skin type especially, since my skin does not handle the pore tightening products too well. Luckily, this does not result in any big inflamations or spots as far as I have tested it, the only thing is that I get those little stuck pores, that are a bit itchy and are not a spot at all they just sit there doing nothing, not really visible, but once I find them, they drive me crazy. But as I said, this is just a minor thing and I did not stop using this mask, because the upside is just way bigger in comparison to this little detail.


Since it was around the month of my birthday as I got to buy the mask, and I must say every store that does this gets a massive thumbs up from me, I got a Shea butter hand cream for free. I am satisfied with this hand cream, I am used to Neutrogena hand creams and those are awesome and this is just about in the same line as the Neutrogena ones. I should add that I am in love with the packaging of this hand cream, as well as the face mask, since it feels just completely different and a bit retro to me, don't really know why.


Lastly, since I am a complete shopaholic and I knew that once I get out of that store I will not get spare money or my darling's approval to get back any time soon, I bought a volumizing hair mask. This one smells like herbs and I am not really sure if I love it too much for that. I am using it for about a month now, once a week I rub it into my scalp after washing my hair, leave it and rinse. I thing that this mask is pretty much all right, even though I am not too sure that I will repurchase it. I honestly think, that for example Aussie conditioners - or shampoos - have about the same effect, and they are way more cheaper than this one. Also after getting it on my hair, the hair get that kind of weirdly glossy but not like silky but rough to touch. Is that understandable? I just am not too sure about this mask, even though it does it's job and my hair are more full - maybe my hair is not fine enough and that's why it does not really work.

Hello there,

today I will review a face wash, that I was using for last few months every day. If you saw this in store or on the internet and thinking about this, here is my point of view.




I am using this with my magnitone lucid, and it wakes me up every morning. The smell of this is so fresh and grapefruity I just really love it.




I am really happy with this face wash, The smell, but I guess you already know this, but as all the Netrogena face washes I got to try it is really nice to the skin and cleanses it. It is also great to use with Magnitone, since it does not leave the weird film after washing as some of the moisturizing face washes do. Still it does not leave my skin dry or feeling dry or tense. It is said to clean out pores, which I can say I got rid off really well.

As a conclusion: I am in love with this. If you are thinking about this one maybe give it a try, I loved the wash/mask combo as well, so with any of the Neutrogena face washes you can not step badly.

Hello there darlings and loved ones,

I was about to do a To school post of some way, and mostly in a way of creating your outfit, actually maybe even sewing your outfit for first day of school. Wouldn't that be a lovely start of new year, in a freshly made clothing piece, made by your own hands? So if you are thinking about it, just do it, make that t-shirt, skirt, jeans whatever you like, by yourself and rock it.



Sadly, a moving came into my way and now I don't have a place where I can sew. Again. And I kind of hate it, but can not do anything about it. Hopefully soon enough we will be moved somewhere permanent and I will have my place to create awesome things. Until then, here is this post.

It is my birthday, today as I write it, yesterday as you are maybe reading this. And I would like to look back to what I achieved in last year and give you my piece of wisdom. That is a wisdom about taking chances. Which is a good To school post if you think about it.

First things first, last year around my birthday, I was a girl, thinking about how am I going to finish school and go to the "real life". Since then, I got my courage together and looked and took every chance I could. That is a new job, which I love, blogging experiences, doing videos, finishing school and mostly driving. I got to drive. By myself and for real.

I could ramble for ever, but well, I will sum it up. If you are thinking about doing something and you really in your heart want to do this, unless it is harmful for you, do it. If it will not hurt you in any physical way, do it. Because that feeling of something new, something exciting, it is better than the best thing any adrenaline junkie could think of. If you fail, you do, but you will learn something new and awesome. And if you won't, than you will feel awesome. Because you have to try, and maybe even fail to get somewhere. Sitting on you butt will never get you anywhere.

Hi there!

I know that summer is ending for most of you, for me too, but I just need to share this recipe for ice cream. It is all healthy and tasty in just one batch of awesome.



Sadly I do not have a photo, because the ice cream was eaten faster that I could do a photo. And I did this one multiple times, not once I was quick enough to give this one a shot. Sorry.

The recipe is:

1. Take one or two bananas, peel them, chop them and put them into the freezer for at least two hours, best over night. 
2. Get your flavouring, berries, cacao, honey, vanilla, anything you like, I would advise you on sticking with just one at least the first time and put it into your mixer or blender however you call it, whatever you have.
3. Add your frozen chopped bananas.
4. Optionally, But this makes way more in one go, you can add one coconut milk or yoghurt. Maybe even other kinds of milk would be good, but make sure to not put too much water into this, otherwise it will freeze solid. Normal cow milk is also a great option.
5. Mix until smooth. Pour into those moulds for ice cream or into a metallic container, and let that sit for at least an hour or until the ice cream hardens.

wherever your are. Are you reading on your laptop on via the phone? Yes that is a creepy and not any good of a ripoff of Kesha's Crazy Kids, that I am now listening to on repeat. I should stop.

Today I will be talking about a really nice topic. About a gift that I got from my very best friend and a cousin in one person. It is the Daisy Eau So Fresh from Marc Jacobs.


I was on a hunt for a new scent, new perfume that would be used every day. And it took me a good year to come to a place in my mind, that I was able to choose. I thought I would end up with one of Chloe perfumes, but this one spoke to me.

If you don't know me, I am all about the fruity, fun and energetic scents. When I was younger I was hooked on the Puma Jamaica - I think it was called - perfume. It was all the fruits and fun I could imagine. But since I have gotten a bit older I enjoyed a bit more flowery scents more, even though I couldn't really bare to have something heavy and really sweet and flowery for every day.


This one is the perfect medium, of fresh and fruity, but with a flower part into it. I found the ingredients on the Marc Jacobs site:

Daisy Eau So Fresh is a charming twist on our classic Daisy fragrance. Eau So Fresh is more fruity, bubbly, and more fun than the original.

I actually don't know what else to say, except that I am loving it. I use it every day and it is so easy to wear, that I can not recognize the smell of it on myself anymore. I just spray it on my neck and into the hair and have an optimistic, energetic day, and from time to time I move my head and can feel it again like a fresh breeze.

If you are like me, more on the happy and fruity way of perfumes, but still looking for something to feel like a woman every day give this one a smell.

Hello there.

I'm back and alive. I have been watching loads of vlogs and I found out that it interests me to find out what people eat in day and I get a lot of inspiration from other people. So I decided to document what I ate in a day, and this became a habit now. So I have what I at in a different days, I guess. Anyways, maybe you can get some inspiration.

..you've got to make a lemonade.

Today was a very surreal day in the goods and the bads. And yes this is another one of the rambling blogs, but it is getting to the point where I will be doing normal blogging again.



So I have my last exam this Wednesday, meaning in two days. And I stayed home and  decided to work from home and then just start learning because I am a bit scared about the exam.

I had some bad news today, but I don't know if I am allowed to tell you, because they are not my personal bad news. I do not know why, but I would tell you. I like to tell the bad bad news, it just lifts the weigh off of you, if you know what I mean. And just takes you to a whole new level of things and you look at it few weeks later and you are like meh.

I remember the time, when I was doing my drivers licence test. I was really scared, and we had the worst policeman in the city to take the final test with. And the writing test was all right, we all passed and then, when we went to drive, he was like really in not a good mood and the guy that went before me was really bad and I could see how the policeman is getting annoyed (we were two in the car for each ride) and the guy before me is driving like 20 km/h on a 50 and so on. But the policeman was like okay just go already.

And after him it was my turn. And he was really really annoyed and I was driving pretty great back then (getting back to it now), so he found the lamest excuse and  decided to kick me out because I went on a orange light (which I didn't and the instructor was like what the hell). And I got kicked out, and I was feeling as if my whole life has fallen apart. But then, two months later I retook the test and nailed it. So in the end, it was all great after all.

Moral of the story: If you don't get it the first time, don't worry, you will the next time. And crying is allright. I cried my heart out that day and was feeling pretty much allright after that,

The good news I want to share require a bit of a story too so hold on to your horses and keep reading.

The diploma thesis I handed in on 14th of May, this May. I was not really happy about it. I worked on it really hard but did not have enough time, I got stuck so many times on stupid things and almost did not finished it on time. I was done programming two days before the actual due date and had to write an entire documentation about it in those two days. Some parts I had done already, but there was still a lot of work. But finally, I finished it, completely devastated and sleep deprived, but it was done, I had three printed copies in my hand and just handed them in.

And today, I discovered that I have the final grade from my oponent. We have one grade from the person who is leading us and one from some random person from school - our oponent. With these two we go to the final presentation and get the final grade based on the two grades and the presentation and the dialogue after the presentation. So, my oponent, obviously, did not know about my situation around this paper and gave me an A. A freaking A.

So I am now so happy, even though it does not really mean too much, I still don't know the second grade, but it is a small victory and I am proud of it.

That would be all. So if you feel down for something just don't let it get over your head. In the long run none of the small stuff matters. What matters are final results, which if you are trying hard enough, they will come sooner or later. But do not forget to celebrate the small things, because those will make you some great memories.

P.S. I am working on a what I eat in a day post for my next healthy Friday and I have a bunch of new ins, so the posts are coming to me, I just have to finish school first. But slowly I will get back on track. Also sewing videos will come, loads of them.

There is something funny about the anonymity, it is as if we were scared of judgment because we are going through a tough time. But if you like to talk to your friends, talk to them, they will never judge you if they are true friends.

Hello there!

I have been catching up with life on the internet for last past hours and I am just shattered. So extremely tired. But I wanted to talk to you a bit about nothing and everything, you know. Just me rambling about life, my life and life all around.



I decided to make a free day for myself, much to the sadness of my darling since he has to study for his state exams on Tuesday. I do not have to. I should, but no real power is forcing me, even though there is a tiny soft voice in the back of my head, just waiting there like a small daemon, laughing and waiting for the time that comes, when he can tell me 'You should have studied that Saturday. That one you spent watching youtube. And that Thursday you spent reading books.'

Last few days I have read through two books. After handing in my masters thesis, 80 pages long, in two copies I had to go to work and then work on another two papers and after they were done I had an exam. And I just couldn't handle seeing computer open and working the day after my exam so I took Waiting for Doggo, and read through it. And it was completely awesome book for my state of mind. I bought it because they had it in store, and they never sell books but they had summer vacation themed sale that week and had books. I bough three. Waiting for Doggo was one of them and it is the perfect book for vacation. For that time, when you want to just read into a great book, not think about anything else, but still you don't want the book to be too tight. It's just a great relaxed book with an awesome story and it's easy to read.

The other one was Girl Online, and on the internet, everyone already heard about this one. I was not going to read it, because I just consider myself out of the audience the book was meant for. But then a newsletter from book shop came and they had the slovak translation there and I was like, that's cute, and started reading the piece they show you. Well that piece was the first two chapters and I read into it while learning for my exam and the day after it still bugged me and I was like alright, I need to read this book. And I did. I still consider myself out of the target audience, I think if I was 15-17 this would be an awesome book. The story is a bit too, I don't know I feel like I have read these stories, and wrote these stories when I was young too many times to not know how it will turn out. Still it surprised me. There were some good plot twist. And the writing was really good. I feel that as a holiday book this is an awesome one.

After the horrible week of eating pizza and fast food, I was happy to get back into healthy foods, but I kind of feel like I lost it and have to find it again. So I am on my way to be healthy again. I started exercising after few weeks again. I feel completely horrible, I have to tell you. I have issues with my poor stomach after these weeks, and it just does not feel good to be this lazy and weak again. So I started exercising, been jumping on jump rope and then some workout for muscles. And it's a great feeling I must tell you.

I have started going to work again, and it's really good. I am one of those people who love their job and I just can't get over how awesome it is. I am just incredibly happy that I decided to go to the uni I decided to go and then decided to look for a job at the right time, so that these awesome people hired me. I just can't wait for working full time. Even though I am going to miss those day, when I woke up and did nothing but sew. And I made some awesome dresses and shirts etc. I am gonna miss those days, when I was just home alone at my parents house and could do nothing for a week than just sit behind my sewing machines.

Then again I still have weekends, even though the number of free weekend is rapidly disappearing as we make plans. And I have so many new fabrics that I have to get through. I am looking forward to them.

I kind of don't know what else to write. I don't even know if you all are going to read this far. I just wanted to share some of my thoughts and see where this gets. But if you got up here, to the end, please share how are you. I would love to get to know you a bit more. I will be posting again, really soon. I am slowly getting back into shape and in a bit of time I will get back to blogging and vlogging again. I have some plans, but I have to prepare a lot for them, so cross fingers;).

Hello there darlings and loved ones.

I haven't posted in a while and it bugs me. But right now, my life consists of big word, tight deadlines and high hopes and evening frustration. Also bitten nails and greasy hair. Lovely image isn't it?

One month from now it is, maybe even few days less I will be officially an engineer and a full time working girl. It sounds strange. One month from now I will have this school finished and done and I will be extremely happy about it. Don't get confused. Uni is hard as hell. But it is worth it.

I am now at the stage when my life ends after a certain date. For me that date is this thursday and after that there will be some kind of mid life and after my finals, completely new world unravels. I am so looking forward to it. I will buy a really comfortable chair, that kind you can get outside and sunbathe in the garden. That kind you can get your feet up and you can adjust the way that the back goes so that you are sitting at one point and laying at another. And I will take that outside fancy chair to my husbands house and during weekends I will do nothing but lay on that chair and read books.

I already have one of those fancy chairs at home, that is why I only need one. That is the life I am picturing will happen. Also I will come home from work every day and there will be no more working, no more studying, no more deadlines. I can do what ever I eant with those few hours in the evening. I can clean the house. I can cook something. I can bake a cake. I can read a book. A can watch TV. Or I can go to sleep. That is what I can do with all that spare time that I will hve in the future. Also I can sew. Or if I have too much work I could just stay at work at work till late. Because I would not have to do anything else.

And I am so looking forward to that. If you go to university and work at the same time you know what I am talking about. My life right now is a set of deadlines. I have to fit work and school together with something called life and people. Luckily my idea of people is just me and my husband, because we do not need anyone else, and I am extremely happy that we are at this stage right now because I could not afford anything else.

As this all ends, I am thinking about all I have been through, and even though there is a lot of nights I had to work through and parties I missed because of school, I would never take it back. I am just hopefull I will never ever have to go through this experience again. One assignment I had I realized day before I was supposed to present it that I am not going to make it in time. So I coded all day and all night. Went to sleep at 3.50 to wake up at 4.30 and got to train. I coded through the train ride and after I got to my flat I continued to work. I had the presentation at 5 PM and I managed to make it work. I got 9.5/10 point for that assignment.

When we were in the first year we had this assignment to create a pdf file in LaTeX and submit it through some ftp place we had to change something there for it to be visible to other people. The night it was due, we had to turn it in until midnight, me and my roommate decided to celebrate something and got really drunk. I finished that assignment and handed it in, but than I got 0 points because the teacher could not find the file anywhere.

One year during the night that the clock is changing, this was in winter, it was moving backward I was coding and coding and it was two o'clock, than 2.50 AM and than it was two o'clock again and I had gone to sleep at around 5 am and done so much that night.

When I was in second year, I had this subject, functional and logical programming, and it was known to be really hard subject. It really was one of the worst things I got through. There was only about 13 people that got the courage to go through it. And we did not know how many points we got for our assignments until the last weeks of semester. And I was loosing all my hopes that i would get through that subject, because the test were really hard and I knew I did not do good. But I did not give up, I worked hard and finally got points, got enough to go to final exam and got the best C I have ever gotten.

Once we had a final exam and we didn't know how many points we got through semester. And you have to get certain amount to be able to attend final. We got our points about an hour before that exam.

When we were in first year I was feeling as if I was 15 because I had a really bad hair day, so my roommate and I decided to celebrate that and wrote some friend and gone out. We were meeting and starting and midnight, finished up at around 7 in the morning.

I could go on for a long time, but I guess you are not really interested. I just have all these feelings about ending school and looking forward to the rest of my life that I just wanted to share some of them with you. Also I wanted to say a huge thank you for everyone that has crossed fingers for me, because it was looking really really dark in certain point, but right now it's all good and I am able to hand in my final thesis this thursday even though it is not 100 percent great but never mind. I will finish this school and that is what matters.

I haven't wrote in a while and these kinds of posts gone way off last few weeks. And I am sorry about it. But today I have something cool, I have a new ins video with my first impressions about stuff that I bought.


I found an awesome new Bio shop that does home delivery. For anyone in Slovakia check out bioprevas.sk. This is not sponsored or anything I am just genuinely happy I found them. This was my first time buying there, so I wanted to check out how well their delivery is and also the quality of their products, so I went for few things that are easily spoiled.

I've been playing with the idea of home delivery bio, because nowhere near my work or my route to work is any suitable shop that would sell stuff like quinoa or azuki beans. Though supermarkets are getting there but it is incredibly expensive in there. Comparing it to Biopark or Dm market that sell bio stuff, the supermarkets are more expensive.

And since there is no shop around me, where I could buy my healthy stuff I was always at the position of having to think where to go now to get something I needed. Then I had to make plans for going to the shop and write everything down, and every time I forgot about something and I was completely miserable. Also I wanted to cut dairy and milk a bit since I feel it's not too great for me. And that's why I wanted to find some good home delivery bio shop. Now I should stop rambling and get to the things I bought :).


Firstly I decided to try out this coconut milk that is supposed to be coconut whipping cream, being able to stand as great as standard whipping cream, and if you tried to cut dairy out you know what kind of a pain it is to find working cream. I don't really think this is somewhat different from the tin can one, apart from packaging but I haven't tried it out yet so when I do I will tell you how it went :). Also the tin can one is pretty great as well, you just can't shake it and carefully pour the water out leaving the cream below.


I got back to my morning smoothies now and I wanted to get some nice powder that is great for your body. I was thinking about Maca powder for a while, but the negative effects of it drew me off. So I searched a bit longer and found Acai powder. This one is freeze dried so that none of it's  great powers gets lost. Also it is pure acai powder with no added sugar or other stuff. It is a great antioxidant, helping body lower the cholesterol levels, also helps to protect against diseases and aging, improve blood circulation and gives you a great healthy looking skin, hair and nails. It also has so many other great benefits, and from what I found, and I dug deep, it does not have any negative effects, So I am super happy. I add only a half of tea spoon to my smoothie every morning.


I also bought this baking powder, which is without added chemicals or phosphates. I was buying this in those little packages in DM Market, paying for 5 of them too much money. This one is about 10 packages in one, but in my opinion the packages are way too big for ordinary baking, so I think this will last way longer. I just love this packaging of baking powder, I find it really handy and cute.


I started making my own cereals. I love cocoa cereals but normally I can't get more than hour before feeling hungry. I bought a great recipe book recently and there were three recipes for home made cereals and I tried them and they are awesome and I don't get hungry until lunch which is awesome! So I wanted to get some really healthy cocoa in, since I put loads of cocoa in and I bought this raw cocoa powder. Everybody is telling me it tasted horrible, and I believe them :) But I don't mind, since it only goes to cereals I don'think it's too big of a deal. I wouldn't put it to my hot cocoa, I am not that courageous. Yet. :D


Last thing I bought is this rice milk. As I said about a million times already I am trying to cut back milk and I started trying different types of vegetable milks. I stared with rice milk. When it goes to smoothies, it is all right but when it comes to drinking it alone - weird. It tasted like rice in milk, which if you don't know is when you boil your rice and then pour milk into it. We used to have it when I was a kid and I love it to this day but without the rice to chew along it is just weird. We will definitely be trying some more soon.

And that's all. I hope you enjoyed this, it maybe gave you some idea of what they have in the shop, even though there is way more in there. And maybe it inspired you, but if not never mind, you are your own person;). I discovered lately that me talking about my healthy food is giving pressure to the people I'm talking to abut eating healthy. I am not pressuring anyone to anything I mean I still order pizza or go to fast food from time to time, and I still love it. I just am happy about living healthy most of the time because I generally feel better. But I don't expect from other people to be the same. I know I wouldn't have the courage year ago.

P.S.2 I have less than a month to turn in my diploma thesis and I am now living in a constant state of freaking out. Hopefully it will all be great.

P.S.3 My nails decided to take care of themselves and are slowly getting rid of the left over nail polish so that they look somewhat presentable. It's weird not having nail polish on my nails.

I have been shopping recently - two weeks ago as this post goes up, and I have gone into fabric store and spent way too much money on fabrics. Today I have  anew in for you about the fabric I decided to buy, and trust me there were few more that I wanted but said no, I won't. Now I have a big pile of fabrics sitting on my shelf and waiting for me to find time and reate something from them. I hope Ill get that time sooooon!

Finally I have the time to write a Friday healthy yummy post and I got a food poisoning. But! After a long time of not posting, I decided I could bring out something more celebratory. Also today's post is a mix of two different recipes I found online, which I will of course give a link to. This way I don't have to think about food too much and can actually bring you an amazing recipe!
